Time in the Outdoors

With temps in the 70's and a wonderful breeze it is so hard to stay inside during the school day.

So, we packed a picnic lunch and we were off to a state park, just minutes from our home, that we just love. After lunch we hiked a short trail around the pond noticing all of the signs of fall - cool breezes, leaves changing colors, and squirrels burying acorns. It was a great day for a nature walk!

Yes, good guess Katie! We love Sope Creek!! It is our favorite picnic spot and place to go hiking. We especially love the old burnt down paper mill ruins.

I thought it looked familiar. We really like that spot too.
