Camp Crafty Girls {2012} ~ Day 1

So excited to be hosting this fun camp again this year. I have 11 girls this go round, a packed camp! I even had to rent an extra table. Planning started months earlier - selecting all the projects we will complete over the three days. Love that I have Pinterest ... my go to place for inspiration.

We also began work today on our service project selected for our camp. This year we are decorating lunch bags for a local charity who supplies lunches to children throughout the community who would normally receive free or reduced lunch in the public school system.

I promise to post some tutorials and links to our projects and recipes we are working on this week after camp is over. Tomorrow, we will be working on painted canvases, glass tile necklaces, and learning how to make roses out of frosting. Along with continuing work on our mini books and service project.
