Our last fieldtrip, for the school year, with our homeschool small group, was today. We had a picnic at a local park and then hiked to the nearby creek and old paper mill ruins for playtime. 
The kids had a blast!! Catching tadpoles, small toads and then snails ... 
Followed by lots of swimming in the creek ... 
I think my kids would have stayed all day.
