Spring is Near and a Craft Project

Signs of spring were everywhere in Disney ... I could have spent hours photographing flowers, trees, and shrubs at Epcot alone. It made me so happy. January and February are hard months for me - maybe it is the doldrums after a holiday packed Fall or maybe it is the lack of sunshine either way it puts me into a funk.

It makes me smile when I begin to see the first signs of Spring here in our neighborhood and when Daylight Savings begins.

So, in honor of Spring drawing closer and closer by the day, I decided to pull out one of my pins on Pinterest and make a Spring wreath for our front door. Ava Mae just loved this design we found weeks ago, so while out and about today we ran into Michael's and picked up the supplies to make the wreath.

It was pretty simple - just wrap the yarn around the foam wreath form {hot gluing every once in awhile}. Add some pink silk flowers and a ribbon for it to hang on your front door - easy peasy.

Smile everyone ... blossoming flowers, warmer temperatures, and the promise of new life are on the horizon - Spring is almost here!!
